“Bodwell is stricter about what public schools should be strict on, like attendance and uniform. It is preparing us for the real world. The education standard is more challenging than what I am used to. I do not like things to be too easy-I like to learn new things. I like making friends from every country in the world-and I am learning new languages, too. My Spanish is coming along very fast.” – Elizabeth Cussen, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

We enable students from around the globe to become active learners and well-rounded citizens who contribute positively to the world.

Last month, Bodwell students and staff shared meaningful experiences and developed mutual understanding with our long-standing partners in Maai Mahiu, Kenya. Our school’s fourth successful journey to Kenya, this time the group’s energy centered on building relationships with local youth and exploring future community development projects.

Here is a video summary put together by trip member Christine Wright showing the many highlights of this year’s trip.
