“Since I have been at Bodwell I have watched many people who are now my closest friends grow to be proactive and dynamic human beings. I have grown with them thanks to the amazing teaching staff I have had the opportunity to learn from. Bodwell has taught me that strength really does lie in diversity, and I know when my day comes to graduate I will be leaving to make a positive impact in the world.” – Matthew Harker, Canada

Drama

Drama education contributes to the development of an educated person by providing opportunities for students to experience situations like those they might encounter in real life, to make choices, and to take responsibility for their actions in a safe and nurturing environment. – BC Ministry of Education

Don't Fear the ReaperBodwell High School’s Drama program seeks to provide opportunities for self-expression and creativity in the form of performance and theatrical arts. Drama allows students to explore the humour, interpersonal situations, and emotions that characterize and parallel our daily lives. By providing a venue for English oral rehearsal, students are given the opportunity to develop their public speaking and presentation skills, while in a supportive and engaging atmosphere.
