Nicole Anders

Class of 2005
Student Parliament Prime Minister in 2004-2005

Nicole AndersAfter graduating from Bodwell at the age of 16 in April 2005, Nicole jet set off to paradise! She moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where she attended Hawaii Pacific University, known for being one of the top international private universities. Ever since Bodwell opened her eyes to such cultural diversity, Nicole wanted to go somewhere that would continue this for her. HPU, like Bodwell, had small class sizes, a lot of personalized attention, and an emphasis on diversity and multiculturalism/global leadership). Nicole loved everything about Hawaii Pacific, especially the fact that the beach was just a hop and a skip down the road. Because of her own personal experience, she decided to study psychology. She also took a liking to the Spanish language and spent 6 months abroad living, going to school and working in Cadiz, Spain (a tiny town in the south of Spain where practically NO ONE speaks English). Nicole is currently fluently bilingual and has Spanish as a minor.

Nicole graduated at the age of 20 (completing her BA in 3.5 years) in December 2008. She has been accepted to Argosy in Orange County. It is another small, private professional school where she is going to enter their 5 years doctoral program. This program combines the masters and doctorate of psychology into 5 years. Nicole hopes to specialize in adolescents and grief. She has also worked for the DOE in Hawaii with children who have developmental disorders.

With singing and acting as her true passions, in 2003 she moved to Taiwan to “make it big”, successfully winning three recording contracts and appearing in numerous commercials and music videos. In 2007, Maggie took a chance by moving to Hong Kong, joining TVB Group and hosting a show similar to the American “Entertainment Tonight”. Some of her clips can be even seen on Youtube!

In pursuit of a dream and a new challenge, Maggie once again picked up and moved, this time, to New York City – the Big Apple. Her short-term goals include breaking into the North American entertainment industry, launching her own fashion label, and writing a book to share the ups and downs of working towards your dreams. Always aiming higher, Maggie’s long-term plans are to record her own album, write a movie script and have her own publishing company. Check out what Maggie’s now up to on her website!
