"As a parent, I was very worried when I first decided to send Sylvia to Bodwell after her graduation from junior high in Taiwan. However, ever since she was picked up from the Vancouver airport, she was well taken care of by Bodwell staff.
I consider the public schools in Vancouver to be too big with a lack of individual care. This was not suitable for my daughter who had to study away from her home country. Bodwell had smaller classes that suited my daughter by allowing her ample attention from her teachers. In case of need, my daughter could ask for help directly from her Chinese-speaking counsellor. This provided me with more peace of mind than if she had attended an all-English-speaking school.
I had ongoing contact with my daughter's teachers, her counsellor, her classmates, the principal and even other parents, which deepened my positive feelings toward the school. My daughter is polite, lovable and self-disciplined. I am thankful and satisfied that Bodwell was a part of her life."
