Why study in Canada at Bodwell?
Bodwell High School provides a safe and friendly environment
in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, which is conducive to
academic learning and personal growth.
You will have a rich cultural and linguistic experience and

20 different countries around the world .
The US/Canadian exchange rate gives you great benefit. For
an 8-month stay in Canada from September to April, the cost is approximately
$17,000.00 CDN (less than $12,000 US) for tuition, room and board,
medical insurance and field trip fees.
With our trimester system, your learning is accelerated.
You can finish one school year in two semesters (8 months). Three
years of high school education can be accomplished in two calendar
years (6 semesters).
Post-secondary options after graduation
You will obtain a Dogwood Graduation Diploma upon successful completion
of secondary education in the Province of British Columbia, which
can lead you to top Canadian universities. No standardized tests
will be required. If you are applying to US colleges, you can prepare
for PSAT and SATs and write them in Vancouver.
Student Visa
For US students, a student visa is issued at the port of entry
when you first enter Canada. It is valid for any number of border
crossings in either direction within the validity period. Student
visa is easily renewable within Canada.
To obtain your visa, you will need to present the following documents
to the immigration officer at the port of entry:
- Bodwell High School acceptance letter
- Proof of citizenship (birth certificate)
- Proof of sufficient funds by providing evidence of enough money
to pay for tuition and living costs
Health Insurance
You need to purchase a 3 month traveller's insurance before being
eligible for the government medical insurance (B C Medical Services
Plan). The MSP coverage is $54.00 a month. Bodwell will arrange
the medical coverage for you at the time of application.
