TUENDE means LET'S GO!

Clubs, Sports, and other extracurricular activities

This webpage will soon (technical difficulties overcome) be home to photos, video, and ideas about various extracurricular connections between schools at Bodwell and schools in Kenya.

Bodwell students & staff: please send your photos/videos to be posted on this site & shared with students in Kenya.

Environment Club

  • Click here for an update on how Bodwell is supporting the environment clubs as they begin establishing tree nurseries

 Song & Dance Activities

  • Download a video of a traditional Kikuyu song. The song is sung as a 'call and response', with the taller student (the one who jumps & flips!) singing the first part while the rest respond.

The song tells the story of a man who tries to have an affair with someone outside his marriage, but is caught by the police and gets in trouble; he decides to stay with his wife and love her.
