Secondary Welcome to Maai Mahiu Secondary School! Student profiles & class photographs: The form 4 (Grade 12) class is not included
as they are preparing to write comprehensive graduation examinations
from October 22 - November 23. Staff Profiles: click here Introduction to the School Grounds: Left: The classrooms - there are four classrooms, one for each grade, and one computer lab. 'Form 1', written above the first door, is the equivalent of Grade 9 in Canada. Right: the administration block, with one teachers' room and offices for the administrators. The 'Dining Hall', being used as a classroom by the Form 2 Girls (grade 10 girls). The computer lab: Six old computers for a total of 290 students. But how does one operate a computer lab in a school with no electricity? Solution: run a generator. So, once in a while students are able to study computers...
