Goal: To build friendship, collaboration, and a community of support between Bodwell High School and three schools in Kenya: Maai Mahiu, Karima, and Longonot Secondary Schools.

Partner Organizations

There are many organizations working to build solidarity between Canadians and Kenyans. Here's a few with whom we are proud to work closely.

Bodwell High School (web)
   The school where this linkage began! Sent 5 students and 2 staff to Kenya in Summer 2007; sponsored 3 students to enter grade 9 in February 2008.

Comfort the Children International (web)
   The organization based in Kenya which administers funds, takes care of
Rafiki Link equipment, and liaises directly with staff & students in Kenya.

Project Kenya Sister Schools (web)
   A parallel program, based around a conservancy in Kenya. Welcomes
new schools to join in sister-school relationships with schools in Kenya!

Teachers Without Borders Canada (web)
   An important Canadian NGO with projects in South Africa, Belize, and now in Kenya. Aiming to send a teaching delegation to Kenya in August 2008, in partnership with CTC International.
