Why should your school & students come to this event?
This is the first ever major event to be held on the North Shore on environmental issues and directed toward high school-level students.
Students can explore future environmental education options, volunteer opportunities, career possibilities, and responsible choices as consumers.
Student groups and schools can also have a chance to share the work they are doing to make a difference, raise awareness of ecological issues, and lessen their impact on the planet.
Finally, we would like to show any interested schools how they could host the next annual North Shore High School EcoFest, an exciting event we hope will become a regional tradition.

How can my school or students attend?
North Shore schools can participate through a field trip to
the EcoFest by sending select classes (especially appropriate for
planning and science students), club members (from environmental clubs,
student council members, or even interested individual students or
staff.
As this event is scheduled during a school day, your participation will be mean you will miss classroom time. We hope the inspiration and meaning this event will provide will make up for this lost time and inconvenience.
Guests are welcome to arrive and leave at any time throughout the afternoon, but are encouraged to come and stay for the entire schedule of activities.
