What counts as a Student Action
Project?
-
Any activity that involves groups of students taking action to enhance the environment, to communicate about the environment, or to demonstrate the wise and sustainable use of resources, counts as a project.
-
Each separate group carrying out a project counts as one action. For example, if two classes are completing the same project, it counts as two actions.
What should I do?
1. Obtain a
blank Project Page from the Green Schools Project Log Book. Help students
to fill out the form with such information as the name of their project, the
students' names, and a description of the project. Return the project page
to the Log Book when complete.
2. Add the project name and group name to the
Progress Wall Chart outside of the staff lounge.
For project ideas, consult the Green Schools
Idea Book in the Log Book.
